I often find myself feeling as though I am on the road less travelled. But, I am a firm believer that what is meant to be will be and so that is how I have pledged to live my life: pedal to the metal (at a safe speed, of course), exploring every winding and bumpy road life puts me on.
I graduated from university about five years ago with degrees that set me up for a career in social science or politics.
However, I have found myself working in finance for the past four years. It’s been an eye-opening and educational experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything. I am fortunate enough to have found yet another thing that I am passionate about, and it has given me a renewed perspective on how I manage my own life.
As if that isn’t enough, I was lucky enough to get involved in publishing. I have been working as a flourishing freelance journalist for ANOKHI Life, covering topics ranging from social issues, current events, and unleashing my inner fashionista.
When I’m not working or writing, I’m devouring books at an unhealthy rate (#nerdalert).
With that being said, although I am still figuring out exactly where my path might lead, I am having a hell of a time on the journey!
